Interview With A Cat

While considering what to write about, the thought occurred that Ben the Cat had something he wanted to say. So, Cindy and I sat down with the laptop and had this conversation with our cat Ben:Question: Ben, do you know why we are talking with you?Answer: [sidebar – looking at the computer “That thing is stupid!”] You want to know what cats think.Question: Do you have some things you want to tell people, or do you want us to ask you questions?Answer: You can ask me questions as long as you keep petting me.Question: Ben, you said that you had the idea for this article. Is it because you wanted to help, or because you have something specific to say?Answer: Image of Ben and a large group of different kinds of animals behind him, cats in front. [sidebar – Beauregard the Basset grumped that there were dogs there too!]Question: So Ben, does that mean you are speaking for other animals besides cats?Answer: I am being a messenger for animals, but we will start with cats.Question: Ben, what would you like to say to us about cats?Answer: Image of a huge grid or web.Question: What does this picture mean?Answer: Image of cat paws pulling and weaving the threads of the web, bridging between humans and… not clearQuestion: Bridging/weaving between humans and other animals, or humans and other levels of being?Answer: Image of what we (Cindy and Terri) think are dimensions/levels of being.Question: Ben, are you showing us different levels of vibration/energy?Answer: Impression of movement up and down, between the open areas in the grid/web.Question: Can you explain a little bit more about this image?Answer: Turns his back and begins cleaningQuestion: Ben? I’m sorry we’re a little bit slow here, can you be patient and explain things a little bit more? We are being slower than usual because we are writing this down to share with other people…Answer: Thought transfers much faster. [sidebar – we agree, but we think it’s very important that other people read about what cats have to say]Question: Ben, do you want to talk or do you want other cats with you to talk? [sidebar – Ben seems to be a conduit for others to speak]Question: Would another cat or cats like to come forward and speak?Answer: Feeling of large cat energy. Then “cats help balance things. Feral cats help balance”…Question: What do feral cats balance? [note: Ben’s parents were feral, and he was too as a kitten]Answer: One of us got an image of people and nature and the feral cats drawing people back into a connection with nature, with ourselves. The other one got humans don’t understand their energetic impact on this and other levels/dimensions of being. The cats help contain this impact, to maintain the overall balance. They also are being what humans perceive cats to be. Cats [and all animals] are more than most people understand.Question: How can humans learn more about animals as they fully are – beyond what we enjoy about them?Answer: “We be as we are”Question: Help us understand a little better?Answer: Image – watching the daily activities of our cats, we learn that they are more than what they do for us or how they interact with us. They watch, they lay in the sun, they play, they meditate, they enjoy their lives. They know things on other levels that we do not.Question: How can we as humans learn to control/minimize our impact on the other levels of being?Answer: Image – human in the center of spinning world. Image – peaceful forest with all beings – earth, plant, animal, human – interconnected as one energy. Image – sitting and meditating [with your cat], coming to understand and experience the connection of all as one.Question: Is there anything else that Ben, or the cats with him, would like to share with humans at this time?Answer: Image – paw gently laid on face. Message – stretch, lay in the sun, and purr.Question: We would like to thank you Ben, and all of the animals that spoke with us this evening [sidebar – Beauregard the Basset says that dogs know about laying in the sun too!]We wanted to share this with the readers for some obvious reasons – the message is profound and yet very simple. We also wanted to point out that when we speak with animals, we can receive communication in many ways – images, thoughts, words, emotions, body language. We are also experiencing the animal in a multi-dimensional way. For example, Ben would talk with us about these profound things – as long as we kept petting him. He also pointed out that telepathic communication is much faster than a computer!Beauregard is eagerly awaiting his interview for next time!
